Identifying the need to service a greater number of startups and the competitive benefit of specialising in our key recruiting disciplines, we've transitioned to providing an external hiring solution, expanding our market reach and further increasing demand.


The opportunity


Due to constantly increasing demand from new and existing clients, we are looking for several new hires to join the Hired By Startups team. We’re interested in speaking with individuals with a successful track record in 360 recruitment and an interest in startups / scale-ups.


The role


You’ll join us as a 360 Recruitment Consultant and will be expected to manage your own pipeline, responsible for business development, candidate sourcing and process management.


You’ll specialise in one of our core functions - Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Success and look to build that over time, hiring and growing your own team in the short-medium term.


We think of recruitment as a team activity, and so you’ll be expected to engage with colleagues, taking a land and expand approach with clients to benefit the business overall.


You’ll work to an agreed annual revenue target, split into quarterly goals. You’ll be expected to work with the flexibility and freedom this role provides to deliver on that target.


We’re building a business here and you’ll be joining at an early stage, so you’ll also be expected to contribute to that considerably.


About you


You’ll need circa 2+ years experience as a Recruitment Consultant in a 360 role, with a successful track record of meeting revenue targets.


You’ll have a genuine interest in hiring for startups and scale-ups, ideally with previous experience doing so and a black book of contacts.


The ability to manage your own workload, pipeline and resources is vital. You’ll need to be confident in your self-discipline to focus on doing great work and reaching your targets without the confines of a structured working environment.

You can expect to work remotely on a flexible hours which suit you, with regular, fully-expensed, in-person meet-ups. You’ll get 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), plus an extra day off for your birthday, plus an extra day off every quarter you hit target, plus between Xmas and New Year off. Oh, and you can ‘work away’ in any country you like (within a reasonable timezone) for a month each year!


We’re paying a base salary of £30k-£50k depending on your experience, plus uncapped commission which pays you up to 50% of billings. There’s no threshold either so you can start earning commission from your first placement.


We’re also going to be investing heavily into health & wellness perks and will be offering enhanced sick pay and enhanced maternity / paternity leave.
