We’re working with one of London’s hottest subscription based consumer facing startups, hiring a Customer Service Manager to take a completely blank canvas and create something which truly delights their customers.
You might not know who the startup is right now but in 12 months you won’t be able to walk anywhere in London without seeing their name.

Just raised a few million in VC funding, expecting to grow customer numbers at least 5x this year and obsessed with delighting customers with a concierge level service.
They need someone to build and manage the Customer Service function, implementing processes and tools, hiring and training a team of circa 10 CS Execs. You’ll maintain ambitious customer service metrics, reviewing customer data, identifying trends and reporting on results to the leadership team.
Currently a small team of 25 with an an ambitious and energetic culture and BIG growth plans. Real focus on wellbeing, regular team socials and a hybrid approach to work. South West London office. 50/50 wfh split.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
You’ll need to have previously worked in a Customer Service function with at least some experience managing a team – either as a Customer Service Lead or a Customer Service Manager. If you’ve built the thing from scratch that’s great but experience hiring, training and managing others is really important.
You’ll need live & breath delighting customers – really, you’ll need to absolutely love it.
Previous experience working in a fast paced startup environment will be of real benefit.
Great communication skills, organisation skills and a real eye for detail are all important, obviously.
It’s also really important that you’re willing to get stuck in and do the hard work to scale the team. Sometimes that’ll mean speaking directly with customers, acting as a point of escalation etc.
