We’re working with one of London’s most exciting consumer facing startups, hiring an Operations Manager to manage & consistently improve day to day operations for their logistically complex business.

You’re likely to have already heard of this startup but if you haven’t yet, in 12 months you won’t be able to walk anywhere in London without seeing their name.


Recently closed a fresh round of funding and backed by some of the biggest players in their industry, they’re growing lightening fast and expecting to 5x customer numbers this year!

They need someone to act as the bridge between their logistics and customer facing teams, ensuring the business is consistently able to scale. 

Reporting to the COO, you’ll be responsible for running day to day operations, managing 2 direct reports and 15 indirect reports. You’ll be responsible for managing all operational budgets, refining  and reporting on operational KPI’s to senior leadership and owning the implementation of new operational technology and processes.

At a high level, it’ll be your job to ensure the business can continue to consistently operate efficiently as customer numbers rapidly scale.


You’ll need to have proven experience working in an operations role within a logistically intensive business – this is likely to include something around warehousing, deliveries or physical assets. Ideally this would also include experience working in a high growth startup environment where ambiguity is certain and change is constant.

You’ll need to show you have experience scaling an operations function in response to rapidly increasing customer numbers, perhaps with examples of implementing new technology or automating processes to drive efficiency improvements.

Experience with data is also important, you’ll need to be comfortable analysing data, identifying trends and reporting on results.

Above all, you’ll need to be energised by constant problem solving in a rapidly moving environment where there’s often more questions than answers and where you can make consistent improvements to a growing business.


£60k-£70k base salary, depending on experience. It’s also expected you’ll progress fast to become a member of the senior leadership team. Other benefits include good holiday allowance, health & wellness benefits & more.

This is a hybrid role; 3 days per week in the startup’s London office, 2 days per week from home.
